What online giving actually requires
A bank account in the church's own name — never a pastor's or a trustee's personal account — which we check and approve by hand before online giving can be switched on. Gifts then settle to it through a Paystack subaccount. That is a floor, not an upsell.
Online giving starts on a low monthly limit — a fraud control, not a feature. Once we have approved your CAC certificate and an admin's ID it can go up, never past your plan's ceiling. Giving you record by hand is never capped.
Recording giving by hand needs none of it. Batches, funds, the dashboard, statements, reports, expenses and budgets are there on every plan.

Is it really free?
Yes, for a church of any size, with no time limit. We do not charge for members and we do not cap them — add your whole congregation on the Free plan. It is not a trial of a paid plan. What paid plans buy is more media storage and more headroom on the metered things; the features are the same.
What does the trial cost?
Your church's first paid plan starts with 14 free days. Starting it takes a one-time ₦100 card verification — that's the card check, not a subscription charge. Cancel inside the 14 days and you go straight back to Free with nothing more to pay. The trial is once per church; after that, a paid plan bills from the day you choose it.
Who gets the reminders, and why admins?
Your admins do, on the advance window your church sets. A birthday message from a person means something; an automatic one from software doesn't. Fellowr remembers, you reach out.
Can I take offerings online?
Yes, through Paystack. Add the church's bank account — it must be in the church's own name, never a pastor's or a trustee's — and once we have approved it, online giving can be switched on and gifts settle straight to that account. It starts on a low monthly limit, which can go up once we have approved your CAC certificate and an admin's ID. Recording giving by hand — batches, funds, statements, reports — is on every plan, including Free.
Is there a limit on online giving?
Yes — online giving has a monthly limit, a fraud control rather than a plan feature. Every church starts on a low limit of its own, whatever its plan; send us your CAC certificate and an admin's ID from your giving settings, and once we have approved them it can go up — never past your plan's ceiling. Giving you record by hand is never capped. Worth knowing before you rely on it: if a donor's next recurring gift would take the month past the limit, that recurring gift is cancelled outright rather than paused, and the donor has to set it up again.
Does Fellowr take a cut of our giving?
No — not a percentage of your giving, ever. Gifts settle to your own bank account; Paystack charges its own processing fee, and we never touch the money. Paid event tickets are the one place a Fellowr fee exists — 3%, capped at ₦500, paid by the attendee.
What if we leave?
Your Owner can download your members, admins, forms and form responses as one file from billing settings, any time, without asking us — even if the account is suspended. Giving reports and financial summaries download from their own pages. And stopping payment never locks you out: a church that stops paying moves to Free and keeps every member and every feature.
Can our members use it?
Yes — the Fellowr app is free on iOS and Android. They can read the whole Bible without an account at all, and once they follow your church they get your devotional, your events and their tickets.
